Handling and PPE for research peptides
Baseline handling practices for laboratory personnel working with lyophilized and reconstituted research peptides.
At minimum, wear nitrile gloves, safety eyewear, and a lab coat. Weighing and reconstitution should be performed in a ventilated area, away from food, drink, or personal items. Segregate reconstitution work from analytical instrumentation to prevent cross-contamination between working stocks and reference standards.
